Born on 24th March, 1933. Enrolled Advocate in January, 1958. Practised civil, criminal, constitutional & taxation laws in Orissa High Court. Appointed Judge, Orissa High Court from 20th June, 1984.
He served as the Judge of Orissa High Court from 20.6.1984 - 27.4.1994. He became Judge of Allahabad High Court in the year 1994.
