Born on 7-11-1947. Enrolled as an Advocate on 24-11-1972 and practised in the District and Subordinate Court. Joined Judicial Service on 1-6-1985. Worked as 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ganjam at Berhampur and Registrar, Orissa High Court from 1989 to 1991. Worked as District and Sessions Judge, Puri and Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Orissa, Bhubaneswar and as Secretary, Law Department, Government of Orissa from 25-5-1995.
He served as the Judge of Orissa High Court from 14.6.1997 - 6.11.2009.
