Born on 5-9-1925. Enrolled as an Advocate in October, 1950. Appointed as Additional District and Sessions Judge on 14-2-1966 and as District and Sessions Judge on 25-7-66. Was Special Judge, Bhubaneswar from 29-11-68 to 1-2-1971 and Secretary to the Government of Orissa, Law Department from 1-2-1971 to 15-1-1974. Worked as District and Sessions Judge from 17-4-1974 to 29-6-1977. Was Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal from 6-7-77 to 3-4-78. Worked as Registrar of the Orissa High Court since 5-4-78.
Appointed Permanent Judge of Orissa High Court on 18-9-81. He served as the Judge of Orissa High Court from 18.9.1981 - 5.9.1987.
