Born on 2nd October, 1946 at Patnagarh in the district of Bolangir. His father Shri Dhobai Chara Parichha is an Advocate of the Patnagarh Bar Association.Justice Parichha did his Matriculation from the Patnagarh High School in 1960 and Graduation in Science from G.M.College, Sambalpur in 1964. Thereafter, he studied Law in M.S.Law College, Cuttack wherefrom he obtained LL.B. Degree. After completion of study, he joined the Legal profession in 1968. Just after three years of practice, he was selected as a Probationary Munsif and joined as such on 03.11.1971. After getting usual promotions, he became a member of the Orissa Superior Judicial Service (Senior Branch) in 1988. Being a member of the said Service, he worked as Special Judge (Vigilance), Sambalpur, District and Sessions Judge, Mayurbhanj, Registrar(Judicial) of Orissa High Court, District and Sessions Judge, Ganjam-Gajapati, Special Judge (C.B.I.) and Chairman, Sales Tax Tribunal, Orissa, which post he was holding till his elevation as an Additional Judge of Orissa High Court.
Justice Parichha is also a poet and play writer. Several plays and anthology of poems in Oriya language written by him have been published.
