PIL Case Details

This PIL challenges the high level corruption in dealing with Government lands by the G.A department, and the Development Authorities of the state and other public bodies, to grab government land from 1995 onwards . The petitioner prays that the matter be l ooked into by a High Power Committee. The Opposition parties, after due consideration, constituted a Task Force to review the irregularities in allotment of land in Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack urban areas. As of 30 th January 2015, the Task Force Committee has submitted its report in a sealed cover along with an affidavit.
