Educational Qualification: 

Passed out High School Certificate Examination from Subalaya High School, Sonepur in 1978.

Completed Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours) from Rajendra College, Bolangir in 1983.

Completed LL.B. from Lal Lajpat Ray Law College, Sambalpur in 1986.

Professional experience :

Initially joined in the Chamber of Late Shri Hari Prasad Nayak, Advocate, Sambalpur, an eminent and reputed Lawyer of State in criminal side and conducted variety of cases both in Civil and Criminal side in trial courts.

In 1996 joined the chamber of Hon’ble Shri Justice P.K.Mohanty and Hon’ble Shri Justice B.P.Ray, at Cuttack, then Advocates of Orissa High Court and started practice in Orissa High Court. Being selected by the Hon’ble High Court in the Orissa Superior Judicial Service (Senior Branch) Examination, joined as 2nd Additional District & Sessions Judge, Ganjam at Berhamapur on 07.02.2003.

Also worked as District & Sessions Judge, Koraput at Jeypore, Ganjam at Berhampur, Puri, Chairman, Sales Tax Tribunal, Odisha, Cuttack, Member Secretary, Odisha State Legal Services Authority, Cuttack, District & Sessions Judge, Cuttack and joined as Principal Secretary to Government of Odisha, Law Department.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the Orissa High Court on 29.11.2013.

Took oath as Permanent Judge of the Orissa High Court on 16.10.2014.

Joined as Judge of the Madras High Court on 23.11.2017 upon transfer.

Repatriated to Orissa High Court and joined as Judge, Orissa High Court on 19.11.2018.
